World Series of Poker Qualifiers

December, 2011 – March, 2012
Weekly Qualifiers: Wednesdays at 4pm
Monthly Qualifiers: 2nd Friday at 6pm; 1st & 3rd Saturday at 2pm
World Series of Poker Satellite: February 25 at 2pm.

Prize money will be awarded for each individual tournament along with points entitling players to free or discounted entry for the final tournament on April 14th at 2pm; one lucky poker player will win a $10,000 seat in the World Series of Poker main event and $1,500 for travel and expenses. Money Time NLH Tournaments:

Saturdays at 4pm.  A two-hour, single-table, live-money tournament will begin when 9 players are signed up.  There is a $200 buy-in with a $20 entry fee.  Players start with $200 in tournament chips and play for 2 hours.  Blinds begin at $1/$2 increase to $2/$2 after 1 hour.  Unlimited re-buys available between hands only when below $100 in tournament chips.  At the end of the 2-hour tournament remaining players will divide the prize pool based on chip counts.

Poker Room Rules
1. By taking a seat in a game you agree to abide by all rules and behave in a courteous manner.

2. NO Tobacco Use.

3. Collusion is not permitted.

4. Only one player per hand.

5. All players must be seated while active in a hand.

6. All players must protect their cards and chips at all times.

7. The winning hands must show all cards prior to the pot being awarded; slow rolled hands may be mucked.

8. All games are table stakes (cash does not play). All chips in a players bankroll will remain on the table until that player terminates his/her play. A player may not buy more chips or add to their bankroll during the play of a hand.

9. Check and Raise is permitted in all games, four raises maximum per betting round. If play is heads up (two players), raises will be unlimited.

10.String bets or raises are not allowed. Players must verbally announce their intent to raise, or put enough chips into the pot in one motion to constitute the raise.

11. Cards speak for themselves. The pot will be awarded to the player with the best five cards. Only five cards will determine the pot winner. In the event of two or more hands being a tie, the pot will be split equally between those players with the tie hands. If there is an extra chip after the split, the player that is positioned first in turn after the designated dealer will receive the extra chip.

12. There will be no splitting of a pot between players upon player request. Only a showdown will determine a split pot. Splitting (chopping) the blinds will be allowed in the event both players agree.

13. All cards must remain over the plane of the table and in full view of the dealer. In the event a card falls to the floor, the Poker Supervisor must retrieve it to the table. This retrieved card may constitute a dead hand at the discretion of the Poker Supervisor.

14. Players must act in turn; verbal action in turn is binding.

15. On all games the house will retrieve (Rake) 10% of the value of the pot up to a maximum of $4.00 on a $5.00 or lower minimum or $5.00 on any higher limits.

16. Abusive language or behavior will not be tolerated, and will be terms for immediate expulsion and possible barring from the poker room.

17. The “1/2 Bet Rule” is in effect. If a player goes all in for one-half (1/2) of a bet or more it will be considered a legal bet and it can be raised, or completed and raised. If a player goes all-in for less than one-half (1/2) of the bet it can only be completed.

18. Buy-in will be 5x the maximum bet limit for the game. One short buy-in will be allowed for every full buy-in made. A short buy-in will be a minimum of 1/2 a full buy-in for the game.

19. The above rules are not meant to be inclusive, but are a generalization.

20. As a courtesy to all players, “ENGLISH ONLY” will be enforced during the play of a hand.

21. Headphones will be allowed at the poker supervisor’s discretion. Devices capable of two-way communication will not be allowed.

22. Players are allowed 1 dinner break (30 minutes) per shift.

23. We employ PROPOSITION PLAYERS. Prop players will play with their own funds for the purposes of starting poker games and keeping existing games intact.

24. Employees of Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel are permitted to play poker while off the clock.

25. Each game shall have its own Primary Jackpot Fund.

26. There shall be $1.00 taken from each hand when the pot reaches $20.00.

27. Distribution of jackpot funds received are as follows:
a. 70% of funds collected from each individual game will be added to the Primary Jackpot amount for each game. (i.e. Stud, Hold’em or Omaha).
b. 30% of funds collected from each individual game will be added to the Auxiliary Jackpot.

28. There will be one (1) Auxiliary Jackpot Fund, funded by each game’s jackpot drop and distributed back to players through the following:
a. Coupons
b. Promotions
c. Tournaments
d. And in the event that a Primary Jackpot is won, the Auxiliary Jackpot Fund will be used to seed the Primary Jackpot for each individual game.

29. It is the players’ responsibility to be in the playing area and hear the list being called. A player who intends to leave the playing area should notify the Poker Supervisor.

30. In regards to all matters pertaining to the Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel Poker Room, the decision of the Poker Supervisors will be complete and final.

BADBEAT JACKPOT RULES & PROCEDURES
1. Each game shall have its own Primary Jackpot Fund.
2. The amount of the Jackpot for each game will be posted each day by 3:00 p.m.

3. There shall be $1.00 taken from each hand when the pot reaches $20.00.

4. Distribution of jackpot funds received are as follows:
a. 70% of funds collected from each individual game will be added to the Primary Jackpot amount for each game.
b. 30% of funds collected from each individual game will be added to the Auxiliary Jackpot.

5. There will be (1) Auxiliary Jackpot Fund, funded by each game’s jackpot drop and distributed back to players through the following:
a. Coupons
b. Promotions
c. Tournaments
d. And in the event that a Primary Jackpot is won, the Auxiliary Jackpot Fund will be used to seed the Primary Jackpot for each individual game.

6. Qualifying Hands (must have at least $20.00 in the pot):
a. Hold’em: must be dealt to at least five (5) players.
i. Aces Full of Tens (A,A,A,10,10) beaten by a higher-ranking hand.
ii. Both Hole cards must play in both players hands.
iii. To qualify for aces full, the player must have at least one ace in the hole.

7. The hands that need to qualify for the Jackpot Progressive are the best two hands on the table. The winning hand is considered the hand that wins the pot. The losing hand is the second best hand on the table. If there is a tie for the second best hand, both hands will split the 50% losing hand portion of the jackpot.

8. Payout Percentages:
50% to Loser
25% to Winner
25% Distributed among qualified players

9. A player will be disqualified from the player’s share of the jackpot if:
a. You have a missed-blind button in all Flop Games.

10. Any communication during the play of a hand indicating that one player already has a jackpot hand or is drawing to a jackpot hand, or remarks that lead other players to believe that the time is ideal to attempt to play for a jackpot, may render subsequent jackpot null and void.
